Abstract

The study investigated the conditions for collecting vermiwash from Eudrilus eugeniae and vermicompost by assessing amino acid and protein content. Eudrilus eugeniae washing before collecting vermiwash was given higher amino acid content than without washing. Suitable conditions to collect vermiwash with the ratio of worms: water = 1:1 at 40oC for 40 mins. The amino acid and protein content of vermiwash from vermicompost was higher than that worm, with concentrations reaching 4.313 ± 0.192 mg/mL (amino acid) and 239.941 ± 30.299 mg/mL (protein). The results of testing the density of nitrogen-fixing microorganisms of vermiwash from worms and vermicompost were 3,3x107 CFU/g và 2,8×10CFU/g, respectively.
