Abstract

The party's military policies in the 1975 Spring Grand Victory are the people's struggle in both the South-North, fighting enemies on all three strategic regions and uniting official armies and local forces. Creatively, the Party led the armies and the whole people to the 1975 Spring Grand Victory. Today these policies remain valid. In the world’s, region’s and country’s current contexts, it is essential that we ought to be more persistent than ever before with those targets of national independence associated with socialism, strengthening the country’s national defense-security capacity, and also promoting the building of the people's army towards revolution, professionalism, gradual modernization to become the key forces protecting Vietnam’s socialism.
