Abstract

The art of using dialogues and innermost monologues is one of the special aspects of Trang The Hy's short stories. With the clever usage of innermost monologues, he depicted characters’ worlds with various emotional tones, natural states of mind described in very subtle, unique philosophical ways. Especially, with the writer’s flexible and copious structures accompanied with colorful dialogues, readers can have full perceptions of characters from different points of view in ease. Hence, studying the writer’s methods of using dialogues and innermost monologues and efficiencies of these is one of the aims the author of this article  would like to approach to bring out distinctively artistic style of Trang The Hy’s short stories.
