Abstract

Sadec ornamental flower village is popular throughout the country and Dong Thap is developing the village to become tourist attractions, and improving income for florists. But in reality, the village has yet to be developed effectively as expected, so this study used quantitative methods to identify factors affecting the village’s development. The study results showed that natural conditions, humans and governmental policies have great effects on the development of the village. But most importantly, it is the florists’ insufficient awareness of econo-social conditions, making the biggest barrier. Based on the above results, we propose solutions to contribute to sustainably developing Sadec ornamental flower village.
