Abstract

The administration of safe school development and injury prevention initiatives in primary schools across Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province, constitutes a critical component in ensuring a secure, supportive, and developmentally appropriate educational environment for students. This study seeks to systematically examine the theoretical foundations and evaluate such current management practices in seven public primary schools within the city. A mixed-methods approach was employed, incorporating quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, and documentary analysis to generate a comprehensive understanding of the issue. Data were subjected to statistical analysis using a five-point Likert scale to calculate mean scores, standard deviations, and establish rankings for an objective assessment of existing practices. The findings indicate that while the implementation of injury prevention and school safety management has been prioritized by educational institutions, several systemic and operational shortcomings remain. For particular concerns are the continuing occurrences of serious injury incidents among students within school premises, which not only compromise student safety but also exert adverse psychological impacts. These empirical insights underscore the necessity of devising pragmatic, contextually responsive management strategies tailored to the unique socio-educational conditions of each locality within Tan Uyen City. The proposed recommendations aim to enhance institutional capacity, promote a culture of safety, and ultimately contribute to the overall improvement of educational quality and student well-being
