Abstract

This study focuses on assessing the current status of leadership team development in preschools in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, based on the Principal Standards. A survey was conducted with 30 administrators and 80 teachers using a five-point Likert scale. The findings identified both strengths and weaknesses, as well as the underlying causes influencing the development of preschool administrators. Results indicate that while the management team has made significant efforts to meet the Principal Standards, limitations remain in terms of governance capacity, professional management, and continuous professional development. Based on these findings, this study proposes five key measures to enhance the development of preschool administrators toward standardization, thereby meeting the demands of educational reform in the current context.
