Studying changes of some biomedical indicators in male volleyball team players at Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports over a year of practice

Abstract

The study used sportive biomedical experiments to collect and analyze some biomedical indicators of the respiratory, cardiovascular system, nerve – psychology related to body structure of male volleyball team players at Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports over one training year. The results show that 8 biomedical indicators were positive with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). These indicators are (1) Heart rate, (2) Blood pressure maximum, (3) Blood pressure minimum, (4) Blood pressure average, (5) Heart function, (6) PWC170, (7) Absolute valuation VO2max, and (8) Single reflex. Among these indicators, the PWC170 improved from average to good level, and single reflex from average to fair level over a year of training.
