Abstract

attitudes and correct behaviors about gender, helping children know how to protect themselves and develop comprehensively from the early years of life. Given that issues related to gender and child abuse are increasing, managing sex education activities in preschools has become an urgent requirement for the education sector. This study focuses on surveying and evaluating the current sex education management for preschool children at public preschools in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City. It aims to identify advantages, limitations and causes. The study uses a questionnaire survey method combined with analysis and synthesis; the survey sample includes 25 managers and 95 teachers at 09 public preschools in the area. The results show that sex education management activities have been implemented in many stages and achieved some positive results, but there are still limitations in the practicality of the plan, training content and coordination between schools and parents. The research results provide an important practical basis for preschool education institutions to apply measures to improve the effectiveness of sex education management activities for children in the coming time.
