Main Article Content
Abstract
This study investigated factors influencing the sexual propagation of noni (Morinda citrifolia L.) conducted in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The results showed that sowing in August was most suitable, with a germination rate of 84.44%, a survival rate of 58.89%, and an average seedling height of 26.3 cm after 90 days. Application of the growth regulator GA₃ at 2000 ppm significantly improved germination (95.56%) and survival (81.11%), with seedlings reaching 32 cm in height. The most effective sowing substrate was a mixture of 60% clean soil, 20% coir dust, and 20% manure. Seedlings at 90 days of age were identified as optimal for transplantation, achieving the highest post-transplant survival rate of 73.33%.
