Abstract

The article presents the research findings on the current management of social skills education (SSE) for preschool children in kindergartens across Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City. The study used a sociological survey method with 100 participants, including administrators and teachers, and employed a 5-point Likert scale to assess management aspects such as awareness, planning, organization, direction, and evaluation. The results indicate that the management of SSE activities has achieved positive outcomes, reflected in the proper awareness of its importance, proactive planning, and collaborative implementation among school staff. However, certain limitations remain, including a lack of consistency, limited creativity among teachers, insufficient managerial capacity, and inadequate facilities. Accordingly, the article proposes directions for innovation in management practices, enhanced professional development for educators, and strengthened cooperation between schools, families, and communities to improve the effectiveness of SSE, thereby contributing to the holistic personality development of preschool children.
