Abstract

This study evaluates the feasibility and effectiveness of applying project-based learning methods in teaching the topic "Oxidation-Reduction Reactions" in Chemistry 10 to develop problem-solving and creative abilities in high school students. Data obtained from a survey and the pedagogical experiment were synthesized and processed. Evaluation results, using tools such as survey forms, checklists, learning product evaluation rubrics, and self-assessment forms, showed that the majority of students in the experimental group demonstrated clearer performance in the components of problem-solving and creative abilities, particularly in problem analysis, group collaboration, idea generation, and solution adjustment during the project. These results affirm that applying project-based learning methods to the topic "Oxidation-Reduction Reactions" is effective in developing problem-solving and creative abilities in students.
