Abstract

The Mekong Delta region is advantageous to agricultural economy, ensuring food security for the whole country and contributing to world food security. However, many of the region’s potentials and strengths in agricultural economic development have yet to be promoted. Therefore, the paper explores synchronous mechanisms and policies to promote regional integration in agricultural economy development. At the same time, it investigates current regional linkages and makes suggestions to perfect mechanisms and policies so as to promote regional integration in making and developing agricultural economy in the Mekong Delta. This is an objective requirement to enhance the competitiveness of goods and effectively exploit the potential and advantages of the region.
