Abstract

Entertainment is indispensable to people of all ages, especially at primary school age. Goal-directed entertainments will bring practical effects for learning in general and learning the Vietnamese language in particular. The article presents basic concepts of linguistic and Vietnamese competence; suggesting rules and procedures for game use in teaching Vietnamese to develop pupils’ linguistic competence. The game use in teaching Vietnamese has made the teaching of Vietnamese communicative, helping integrative instruction and activating pupils in learning.
