Freud’s psychoanalytic perspective on persionality

Abstract
From research for disease treatment, Sigmund Freud came up with humans’ mental frame and emphasized the role of human unconsciousness in character development. In particular, he said that all human activities, including character, are affected by sexual instincts (libido). Therefore, the process of personality development is part of sexual instinct in the mental frame. This article clarifies this mental frame and character development process, based on Freud’s psychoanalytic views. Thereby, it points out strong and weak points of the related issue.
