AUN-QA standards application to the training program at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh City: practice and experience

Abstract
The paper presents the context of regional integration amid globalization when applying AUN-QA standards, currently considered fairly suitable for training programs evaluation at Vietnamese universities, such as to improve training quality, guarantee prestige of training programs and universities in the integration trend with plenty of cooperation opportunities and interconnections together with competitive factors. Thereby, the authors present practical application of self- and external evaluation to training programs under the AUN-QA at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM to identify problems and suggest recommendations for the optimal application of AUN at the university in the future.
