Abstract

Southern Literature in 1954 - 1975 manifested the views of the land and people of the South. Doan Gioi’s views of private life and memories of the Southern land when he was in the North with mangrove forests, rivers, fields, the cultural customs of the Southern rural villages South and the images of the residents were praiseworthy. Son Nam’s views of distinctive customs with characteristics of behaviors, lifestyles, ways of thinking and emotions of the Southerners in the early stage of reclaimation and territory expasion. Anh Duc, Nguyen Quang Sang excellently reflected the people's war. Short stories by Anh Duc and Nguyen Quang Sang  stories supplemented Doan Gioi and Son Nam’s views supplying readers full insights into the Southern land and people.
