Abstract

In the context of ever-evolving information technology, proficiency in understanding and adept application of information technology and communication not only enhances ability to effectively utilize information in libraries but also significantly contributes to the comprehensive development of individual competencies. Consequently, the need for training in information technology and communication skills is more crucial than ever, posing challenges to educational institutions and university libraries. This article provides a research review related to information technology and communication training at universities, highlighting the role of libraries in providing resources and supporting training activities for this competency. Additionally, it clarifies issues and obstacles encountered by libraries; thereby suggesting ways to foster information technology and communication proficiency among library users.
