A research review on organizing STEAM projects for preschool children

Abstract
This article presents an overview on organizing STEAM projects for preschool children. By applying document analysis, the results show that most research agrees that organizing STEAM projects for preschool children is appropriate and feasible. These studies also showed that STEAM projects can be approached diversely under different processes. They also initially evaluated and affirmed the effectiveness of organizing STEAM projects for preschool children in enhancing their knowledge and skills in STEAM as well as the 21st century skills. In the future, research needs to focus on evaluating the effectiveness of engaging in STEAM projects on children’s advanced skills, critical thinking, and creativity. Additionally, scholars in Vietnam also need to enhance research on the implementation and effectiveness of organizing STEM/STEAM projects within our cultural and educational context.
