Abstract
Consonants are the component with the most variations in the Mekong Delta Khmer dialect in general and An Giang Khmer dialect in particular. The research team uses the contrastive analysis on the consonant components of An Giang Khmer dialect with the national Khmer language to analyze their variations and synthesize them into specific cases of variation. This aims to support teachers and learners to identify common errors in communication habits. It also enables them to use the national standard Khmer language effectively in the use of the Khmer language in each specific communication context.
