Thực trạng phát triển đội ngũ giáo viên tiểu học đáp ứng Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông 2018 ở thị xã Chơn Thành, tỉnh Bình Phước

Abstract

In the context of a fundamental and comprehensive reform of general education under the 2018 General Education Program, developing the primary school teaching workforce has become an urgent requirement to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the educational process. This paper presents the findings of a study on the current situation of developing the primary school teacher workforce under the 2018 General Education Curriculum in Chon Thanh Town, Binh Phuoc Province. The study employed a survey method using questionnaires administered to 110 respondents, including school administrators, team leaders, and teachers from primary schools in this town. A five-point Likert scale was used to calculate percentage values and mean scores. The findings show that the primary school teaching workforce made remarkable progress in terms of number and training levels. However, further analysis indicates that several limitations remain in key areas such as workforce planning, recruitment, training and professional development, as well as policies for teacher development. To effectively meet the requirements of the 2018 General Education Curriculum, the development of this workforce should focus on strengthening professional competence, pedagogical skills, and ethical qualities, while also improving planning, training, and professional development policies to ensure consistency and quality.
