Thực trạng quản lý hoạt động giáo dục kỹ năng sống cho trẻ mẫu giáo ở các trường mầm non trên địa bàn phường Gò Dầu, tỉnh Tây Ninh

Abstract

This study assesses the current management of life skills education activities for preschool children in kindergartens in Go Dau ward, Tay Ninh province. A questionnaire survey with a 5-point Likert scale  was combined with mathematical statistics to process the data. The survey subjects included 191 people of 23 administrators and 168 teachers at 10 public kindergartens in the study area. The survey focused on the management of objectives, content, methods, and forms of life skills education; staff management; inspection and evaluation; and the conditions ensuring the effectiveness of life skills education activities. The research results show that the management of life skills education activities in kindergartens has been implemented relatively synchronously and achieved many positive results. Kindergartens have paid attention to promoting and integrating life skills education into childcare and educational activities. It is crucial to strengthen inspection, evaluation, and build a safe and friendly educational environment. However, some aspects, such as professional development for teachers, organizing practical experiential activities, utilizing teaching equipment, and coordination among educational stakeholders, still have certain limitations. Thereby, it proposes the necessity of continuing to innovate management practices, improve the capacity of the teaching staff, and enhance support conditions to improve the effectiveness of life skills education for preschool children in the context of current educational reforms.
