Current Management of Experiential Activities for Children in Preschools in Hoa Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract
This study examines the current management of experiential activities for children in preschools in Hoa Binh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Data were collected from 45 participants, including preschool administrators and teachers, using questionnaires and interviews. A mixed-methods approach of quantitative and qualitative research methods and statistical analyses were employed to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the management of experiential activities has received considerable attention from preschool administrators and has yielded positive outcomes in organizing experiential-oriented educational activities for children. However, several limitations affect management effectiveness. They include the lack of consistency in planning; the limited effectiveness of implementation, direction, monitoring, and evaluation; insufficient professional development to enhance teachers' capacity for organizing experiential activities; irregular collaboration among schools, families, and the community; and inadequate supporting conditions for experiential activities. The findings provide a practical foundation for improving the management of experiential activities for children in preschools within the study area.
