Effects of gaseous ozone exposure and storage duration on post-harvest characteristics of Citrus nobilis var. Typicar

Abstract
This research aimed to evaluate effects of gaseous ozone and storage duration on the change of some characteristics of post-harvest Citrus nobilis var. Typicar. The experiment took a Randomized Complete Design with two independent variables (ozone treatment and storage duration) and 6 replications. The results showed that the 1.3 ppm ozone treatment delayed the change of the pericarp color, color and pH of fruit juice. Rind color, fruit juice color, vitamin C content, rind and pulp liquid decreased over the storage duration.
