The importance of education in knowledge economy

Abstract
Education has identified its growing role in knowledge economy. Knowledge significantly impacts advancements of science and technology, developments of economy, especially knowledge economy. Key components of a knowledge economy are more heavily reliant on intellectual capabilities than on other physical or natural resources. In the knowledge-based economy, innovation is driven by interactions of producers and users in exchanging systematized knowledge, and this interactive model has replaced those linear traditional ones of innovation.
