Chất lượng đội ngũ giáo viên phổ thông tỉnh An Giang trong bối cảnh đổi mới giáo dục- một số phân tích định lượng

Abstract

Improving the teaching quality of high school teachers is one of the most urgent requirements in the context of educational reform. Based on the survey data of 270 high school teachers for the provincial research project titled “Studying prospective demands for high school teachers and vocational teachers in An Giang up to 2030” chaired by the Center of Social Science and Humanities studies, An Giang University, this article identifies the current teaching quality of high school teachers in An Giang province. The results show that the majority of high school teachers have achieved the standard or higher level of training, but their teaching capacity of many teachers is quite limited in terms of teaching method innovation, technological application, and integrative instruction. As a result, it is essential that policies for training and supporting high school teachers, infrastructural investments should be properly ensured for teaching quality improvement.
