Ottoman empire’s dominant policies in the Balkans
Main Article Content
Abstract
Studying the Balkan Peninsula is a fascinating theme of world history research. However, in Vietnam, advanced studies of this area have been very limited so far. The time of more than five years under the domination of the Ottoman Empire during the Balkans Peninsula’s history was a transitional period that had vital impacts on the history of this region. Researching dominant policies in all aspects of the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans will elucidate the differences of the Balkans to the rest of Europe during contemporary-modern time. In addition, the internal factors of the different historical periods of this area forming the Balkans’ today will be clarified.
