Abstract

This article aims to introduce the effectiveness of applying videos clips in delivering listening comprehension lessons for third-year English majors of Department of Foreign Language Education at Dong Thap University. The initial results of the pilot of delivering lessons with video application proved to be fairly effective on the improvement of the students’ listening skills and the development of some social skills such as brainstorming, critical thinking skills contributing towards creating learning motivation for students.
