Abstract

School-based mental health has become an increasingly important area in general education, particularly among ethnic minority students. These students appear to often face dual challenges from academic pressure and cultural-linguistic barriers. Thus, the present study aims to develop a bilingual (Vietnamese–Khmer) technology-integrated handbook to support mental health among Khmer ethnic minority students at the upper secondary level. The handbook is designed based on an integrated pedagogical approach, incorporating digital tools such as QR codes, interactive forms, and online platforms. This approach helps enhance accessibility and engagement aligned with adolescent psychological characteristics. The research employs a needs-based survey method combined with feedback evaluation after pilot implementation in the school setting. Results indicate that the handbook contributes positively to mental health education and communication while also offering a potential model for developing culturally responsive, learner-centered, and technology-enhanced educational resources in multicultural school environments.
