The current status of managing experiential education activities for preschool children in Thuan Hung Ward, Can Tho City
Main Article Content
Abstract
Experiential education in preschools aims to help children “learn through play and play while learning,” thereby fostering the comprehensive development of age-appropriate competencies and qualities. This study was conducted using a sociological survey method with a five-point Likert scale, involving 08 administrators and 59 teachers from four preschools in Thuan Hung Ward, Can Tho City. The survey focused on four core management functions, namely: planning, organizing implementation, directing, and monitoring and evaluating experiential education activities. The research findings show the achievements, limitations, and the underlying factors affecting the effectiveness of managing experiential education activities in preschools. Thus, it provides scientific and practical grounds for proposing appropriate management measures to improve management, thereby enhancing the quality of organizing these activities in the current context of educational reform.
