Balzac and Chinese Tailor Gilr of Dai Sijie viewd from sociological criticism

Abstract
Balzac and Chinese tailor girl (originally in French: Balzac et Petite Tailleuse) is Dai Sijie (戴思杰)‘s first novel published, the comtemporary birth-Chinese French writer. This novel reflects a viewpoint on Chinese society in the 1970s. Through the novel title, characters’ spirital–aesthetic elements and the ending as a social account, Dai Sijie has successfully made readers face significant questions, not only from the past Chinese society.
