A common fixed point theorem for weakly tangential maps in b-metric spaces

Abstract

In this paper, a common fixed point theorem for two weakly tangential self-maps on b-metric spaces is proven without the continuity of b-metric. This result extends the main results of [2] on metric spaces into b-metric spaces. Also, some examples are given to illustrate the results obtained.
