Abstract

Social value understanding is essential for personal comprehensive development among children. This depends on the education and on the management of education activities related. The article focuses clarifying the current situation of managing the education activities of social skills for children in kindergartens in Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City. A survey was conducted among 18 education managers and 114 teachers together with interviewing 05 education managers of 08 kindergartens in Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City. The survey results were processed on a 5-level scale for scores, standard deviation and ranking. The findings showed that planning, organizing, directing, inspecting and evaluating the education activities of social skills for children reached a good level, but some other aspects were still poor. This study provides implications for proposing measures for improvement on the concerned issues.
