Integrating the feminist theory into teaching at higher education, solution to address gender equality in Vietnam

Abstract

Gender equality is one of global goals and national strategies. Vietnam has put its effort into making gender equality to women and has achieved positive results; however, it still remains a gap between men and women in many aspects calling for considerations. From secondary data, this paper analyzes gender inequality in specific aspects in politics, economy, education, work opportunities, etc. and points out the role of higher education in integrating the feminist theory into teaching in order to develop learner’s social attribute and capacity towards gender inequality which contributes to national development prosperously and sustainably.
