Abstract

Interest in learning has a great impact on student's academic performance. General subjects are compulsory for students of vocational colleges. Creating students’ interest in learning general subjects will contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning in vocational schools. On the literature review, this paper examines first-year students’ interest in learning general subjects at Danang Vocational Training College. Thereby, it proposes solutions to enhance the students’ interest in learning these subjects at the college at the present time.
