Abstract

One of the features in Ho Chi Minh's thinking style is independent thinking, autonomy and creativity. For Ho Chi Minh: Independence is free from dependence, non-reliant, non-imitative, non-dogmatic, theorismic, while Autonomy is self-mastery in thinking, control in oneself and in work, self-responsibility for the country and the nation; and Creativity is the courage to give up the old, no longer fit, flexible in adapting measures, tactics, ready to receive and manipulate the new, advanced. That style of thinking is non-theorismic, non-stereotypical, non-borrowing from others, avoiding the old way, the old trait, but self-searching, thinking, tracing the ultimate characters of subject matters to find out the truths, in accordance with practical needs and conditions. Accordingly, it points out the significance of studying Ho Chi Minh’s style of independent thinking, autonomy and creativity for current cadres and party members.
