Abstract

There is more and more scientific evidence showing that social capital plays an important role in the interrelationship between supply and demand in the labor market. Beside the official employment-seeking methods (via advertising channels, service agencies, direct applicants), through social capital, employees effectively use social relationships (relatives, friends) as an unofficial one. On surveying 304 economic graduates from An Giang University, the research results show that social capital affects graduates’ employment-seeking ability. In addition, this study describes the link between social relationship network and characteristics of employment found.
