General researches on academic advisory models in the world and in Vietnam

Abstract
Academic advisors are noticeable features in the credit training system. They not only play an important role in the training process but also affect student learning processes. They are considered as the “connecting bridge” in the tripartite chain of student-curriculum-university. In order for academic advisors to work effectively, universities can decide how to organize and operate specifically appropriate advisory models. This article presents general researches on academic advisory models in the world and in Vietnam. The result of the article is the practical and theoretical foundations to choose the most suitable model applied so as to enhance the training quality.
