Environmental education for students in Natural and Social science courses through the use of teaching techniques

Abstract
The environment and the importance of environmental protection education has always been associated with all activities in the school. Based on the reality of elementary school teachers’ and students’ awareness of environmental education, this paper proposes the process use of teaching techniques regarding topic-specific contents in the courses of Natural and Social Sciences to integrate environmental education, increase awareness, knowledge, and behaviors of environmental protection; thereby improving the effectiveness of teaching and educating students in elementary schools.
