Applying balanced scorecard in evaluating the obtained outcomes of the development strategy at hue University of Economics in the 2016 - 2018 period

Abstract
The study aims to assess the obtained outcomes of development strategy at Hue University of Economics in the 2016-2018 periods through Balanced Scorecard. This assessment is done on four aspects: finance, learner, internal processes, and training & growth. The research results show that the aspects of finance and learner were assessed strong (with the target completion level of 92.78% and 87.25%, respectively). Meanwhile, with the completion scores at 78.25% and 70.81%, respectively, learning & growth and internal process aspects were at a fair level. The results of the development strategy practiced at Hue University of Economics in the 2016-2018 period is 82.27% (strong point). Thereby, the paper proposes solutions to promote strengths and overcome the shortcomings of the University in the future.
