Factors affecting digital payments of people in An Giang

Abstract

The article employs the Probit regression method to analyze the factors influencing individuals' selection of digital payment methods in An Giang. The findings indicate that several factors are in a positive association with people's inclination towards digital payments, namely education level, income, place of residence, and source of income. Conversely, age variable displays a negative relationship with individual preference for digital payment methods. Building upon these outcomes, the authors put forward a set of recommendations aimed at increasing the access to digital payment methods of people in An Giang.
