Abstract

Water tank system is quite common in the control labs. Most control algorithms used are PID, Fuzzy, etc. The PID control has many advantages such as commonly used in industry, easily adjustable regardless of system structure. Therefore, this article addresses the PID control by investigating the variations of PID values as such to test one simple experiment model for student internship in Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education’s control lab. The article focuses on presenting how to design a discrete PID controller on simulation and real experiment – “Single tank water level control system”.
