Abstract

In alignment with the objectives of developing student competencies and qualities set by the 2018 General Education Mathematics Curriculum, an essential requirement is enabling teachers to effectively integrate real-world contexts into mathematics instruction. This article proposes several pedagogical strategies for incorporating practical elements into the teaching of the topic “Similar Triangles” for grade 8 students, with the aim of enhancing the overall quality of mathematics education at the lower secondary level.
