Some measures to develop reasoning-thinking competence for grade 12 students through teaching volume of polyhedron

Abstract
Mathematical thinking and reasoning ability is one of the important components of mathematical competence. This ability is not only useful for learning math but also used to solve problems in other subjects as well as in real life. Polyhedron volume is an abstract topic that has many connections with plane geometry and practice, so there are many opportunities to develop mathematical reasoning thinking ability for students. The article proposes some measures to develop thinking capacity and mathematical formulation for students in teaching the topic of polyhedron – Geometry 12.
