Abstract

The paper introduces physical features and additional distributions of Garnot’s house gecko Hemidactylus garnoti Duméril et Bilbron, 1836 in multiple crawling species in Thanh Hoa Province. This is the first distribution record of this species in the Northern Central area. Garnot’s house gecko Hemidactylus garnoti is characterized by flat tails with small saws in both sides; it has small, homogeneous scales on back; and its 2nd rear-jaw sheet pair does not touch those lower sheets.
