Building exercise questions to develop grade-3 students’ speaking in Cai Be district, Tien Giang province

Abstract
Practicing sentences is one of the important contents in teaching Vietnamese in general and teaching Vietnamese 3 in particular. Vietnamese Book 3 was oriented towards reforming general education, shifting from focusing on imparting knowledge to helping students form and comprehensively develop their qualities and abilities. However, the reality of teaching Vietnamese in grade 3 still has some shortcomings such as: teachers do not have enough documents on sentence practice exercises; that is the present resource is limited in textbooks. Grade-3 students use most of the sentences incorrectly, do not express complete ideas in communication; they also do not show interest or activeness in learning and sentence practice. Reviewing relevant theoretical issues and surveying current teaching, practicing in some primary schools in the district Cai Be, Tien Giang province, the article builds exercises and guides using sentences to develop grade-3 students’ speaking capacity.
