Abstract

This study examines the current status of managing the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching at primary schools in Hoa Loi Ward, Ho Chi Minh City; thereby, proposing appropriate management measures for improvement. The study employed document analysis, questionnaire surveys, interviews, classroom observations, document review, and statistical analysis. The findings indicate that both ICT application in teaching and its management were rated at a fairly good level. Schools have paid sufficient attention to planning, organizing, directing, inspecting, evaluating, and ensuring the necessary conditions for implementation. However, implementation remains uneven across professional teams, while evaluation criteria, facilities, network infrastructure, and digital learning resources still require further improvement. Accordingly, the study proposes six management measures to enhance the effectiveness of ICT application in teaching and meet the requirements of digital transformation in education..
