Thực trạng quản lý hoạt động giáo dục định hướng nghề nghiệp cho học sinh các trường trung học phổ thông trên địa bàn xã Hòa Hưng, tỉnh An Giang

Abstract

In the context of educational reform in general education and the need to link teaching activities with career guidance for learners, this study surveys the current state of managing career guidance activities for students in high schools in Hoa Hung commune, An Giang province. It aims to measure the implementation level of management functions in organizing career guidance activities and identify strengths and weaknesses as a basis for proposing improvements. A survey questionnaire was used with a four-point Likert scale for 9 administrators and 105 teachers working at 3 high schools in the area. Data was processed using descriptive statistics (percentages, mean scores, standard deviations). The results show that the schools have paid attention to developing plans and organizing some career guidance activities, and there is a certain level of coordination among educational forces within the school. However, implementation lacked a systematic approach and was uneven across different stages, particularly in areas such as inspection, evaluation, career information provision, and resource mobilization. The study concludes that it is necessary to strengthen management capacity, improve coordination mechanisms between schools, families, and local communities, and standardize inspection and evaluation processes to enhance the effectiveness of career guidance education for students.
