Abstract

This study investigates the current management of Natural Science teaching activities in lower secondary schools in Long An Ward, Tay Ninh Province, within the context of implementing the 2018 General Education Curriculum. The study employed a questionnaire survey among 80 administrators and teachers, combined with interviews to collect qualitative data. The investigation focused on four management functions: planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating teaching activities. The findings indicate that the management of Natural Science teaching activities has achieved positive outcomes across the major management functions. However, several limitations remain regarding the use of facilities and teaching equipment, support for teachers in implementing integrated teaching, interdisciplinary professional collaboration, and the use of evaluation results to improve teaching activities. The findings provide practical evidence for proposing measures to enhance the effectiveness of managing Natural Science teaching activities in lower secondary schools.
