The current situation of developing preschool teachers under professional standards in Thanh Tri district, Soc Trang province

Abstract
In the educational innovation context, preschool teachers need to innovatedly adapt to the new situation in protecting the physical, mental and life safety of children; nurturing, caring for and educating them under the preschool education program while children are at school. Therefore, this study is to learn, analyze and evaluate the current situation of developing preschool teachers under professional standards in kindergartens in Thanh Tri district, Soc Trang province. Accordingly, a survey was conducted among 186 subjects, including 23 managers; 163 teachers, based on a 4-level likert scale. The research results have shown that the current situation of the aforementioned task in Thanh Tri district, Soc Trang province still has many inadequacies for improvement.
