Abstract

The New General Education Eurriculum 2018 has had an impact on the teaching professionals in pedagogical universities/faculties; and the development of teachers’ research capability is absolutely vital in the reform context. The article outlines the significance and essential qualities of teachers in scientific research activities. On that basis, strategies to enhance research capability for teachers in pedagogical universities/faculties are suggested to meet the requirements of the New General Education Curriculum issued in 2018.
